đ Introducing Instant Buy
In the next few days, we will be launching an exciting new feature on Theatr â Instant Buy. Instant Buy is a new payment feature that will enhance your experience on Theatr, no matter whether you are selling or buying.Â
Sellers â List the tickets you wish to sell quickly, and buyers can purchase them directly via the app. This means no more juggling inquiries â your contact info is shared with the buyer only. Then simply transfer the ticket and confirm it on the app! The payment will be released to your Theatr account 30 mins after the show starts.
Buyers â Interested in a listing? You can now buy it right away on Theatr to secure that sweet deal. After payment, you and the seller will receive each otherâs contact info for ticket transfer. If your plans change, you have the option to cancel the order before the transfer is confirmed by the seller.
Paying on Theatr protects your payment. If the tickets are fake, invalid, or not delivered, you can dispute the transaction with Theatr up until 30 minutes after the show begins. Please note that a 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee will be charged by Stripe, the platform we partner with to offer secure transactions.Â
We've worked hard to fast-track this feature to safeguard our marketplace from scams. If you have any thoughts or feedback, our IG DMs @stooping_theatre are always open.Â
We remain dedicated to creating a secure and community-driven marketplace where the love for theatre connects us all. Thank you for being with us from the start :)

Make Me Gorgeous!

@michaelkelleher | Favor anything musical, experimental and absurd â especially if theyâre Queer centric stories.
I could really rave about this production all day long, so make sure to grab your tickets quickly because I think this run will be quite a success- and for so many reasons. But the big reason here is for Wade McCollum. His talent is overwhelming and versatile with such control. Youâd think heâs just signed a 2 year lease at Playhouse 46 because he takes the space completely for his own and holds everyone right in the palm of his hand. Each character McCollum brings to life is full of it in their own way, especially Mr. Madame who graces us with moments of joy, tenderness and sometimes loss. Read more

If you also like to indulge in dark comedy, youâve come to the right spot. I for one am definitely a fan and joined in with many of my fellow audience members who couldn't get enough of the jarring demise of these iconic entertainment figures of the 50s. But I, as a self identified Zillenial, did miss quite a few references. So if youâre in my generation, itâs a perfect excuse to call your grandparent(s) before the show and ask what the Hollywood hits of their time were and what everyone was buzzing about. Read more
A Good Day to Me Not to You
đ Recommended by Zhe Pan
@theatrp | Interested in most forms of theater, mainly classic and new plays!
âA Good Day To Me Not To Youâ feels like a middle-aged âFleabagâ at first (it even has a hot nun). Issaq, who takes us straight into the action with no introduction, introduces a character with no name. She has lost her dental assistant job, found out she has HPV even though she hasn't had sex in a decade, moved into a female residence sponsored by the Catholic Church, and right at this moment, one of her neighbors at the St Agnes residence, Dorothy, isnât being particularly nice to herâhence the title. The rock bottom seems much deeper when you venture into your life. Read more

At the end of it all, I recommend this show because there are aspects I now understand about the Afghanistan & Iraq Wars that breathe a stronger sense of humanity to it. And the performances of the actors, some of whom are veterans themselves, affected me in ways I would have never anticipated. Especially the stories told by company members Brandon Jones and Haythem Noor- I was incredibly moved by their characters and blown away by their acting. Read more
Spamalot
đ Recommended by Andrew Agrees
@Andrew | If itâs immersive, absurdist, or just plain strange and wonderful, Iâll be there.
Overall, Spamalot is one of the few Broadway shows that has a much stronger Act Two (or Act Moo) than Act One. I actually prefer the musical to the movie itâs based on, since it plays up the silliness and physical humor. And the revival even updates a few of the jokes from the original production, two of which I found the funniest bits in the show. Truly, this cup overfloweth with comedy. Read more
